Ian + Michelle - Rattlesnake Lake

Ian contacted me because he wanted to surprise his fiancé with engagement photos. They had never had professional pictures taken together before. We originally wanted to do the session at the Seattle Arboretum but parking was insane and after trying to find a space for 30 minutes I suggested we change plans. I am so grateful they were up for an adventure. We headed east on I-90 to one of my favorite locations and arrived just in time for golden hour. Rattlesnake Lake never disappoints. You have a beautiful waterfront accented by unique tree stumps with gorgeous mountain views in every direction. Ian and Michelle brought their fur babies along for the ride and they loved getting to explore some where new. Clients often always ask if it is ok to bring their dogs to the session and my answer will always be “YES”! Sometimes plans change for a reason, I have learned it is best to roll with the punches. Something even better may be waiting for you.
