Baby Al-Amar

In home newborn sessions hold such a special place in my heart. There is something about documenting a family in the space that they spend the majority of their time. Everything is more relaxed and comfortable, they don’t have to go anywhere. I come to them and capture them in the rooms they build bonds and memories in. I tell the story of those first days and capture all the baby snuggles along with traditional portraits. These three were so incredibly sweet together. Not only are the parents over the moon in love with their new baby, but also so in love with each other. There is something about seeing your partner step into that roll of a parent that is beautiful to pull into the frame. The Shabazz family moved away shortly after their session. They came back into town and did a session with me recently and it was so amazing to see them again.
